Actually not every sex scene are kute. Some of them are rape, gang,etc...

I personally would say that I treat them just as another genre of otome games, and look at them with the same lens as normal ones.Some of them definitely have good stories, but some others are too focused on the deed without adding character development, and there is of course rape as well which i dislike. The same could be said for visual novels so I suppose I treat it with the same standards?
