Favourite Otomate game?

Recently i play Glass Heart Princess, I love all the hero from that game, and the story funny and isn't boring too! i recommend it! ^^

Yeah... I don't like PS Vita, really, coz you can't hack it. However, thanks to pages like mybestcollections, we can play japanese games for many years more. ;]

I played CZ game too( GHP I played, but it was too "easy-plot" for my liking ) and it is trully nice. I started to looking for it, because of my "fixation" on Sasuke Uchiha (form Naruto serie) - Sugiyama Noriaki is seiyuu for redhead one. But from CHARACTER I liked Tokita much more - he is the same sleepy-head like(maybe little more than) Gaara(I compare them, because Ishida is seiyuu for both ) and his older form is SO-MUCH-BETTER-DRESSED(!) than Saionji's "second-hand-look". This game was little troublesome, because NON OF CHARCTERS was, for me, "100%". There are games, where you just want to hook some character up. Here... Looking was for Riichiro side, "Sasuke" voice was not there(too squeak-y =.=), but Taranosuke is a wilde one, so point for him. Also, Panda(Ishida's characters have something "panda" in them, even Togami form DR) was quite adorable. Madoka is smarty one and has nice aura... I played that game ages ago, so I helped myself with names, but I liked it(only one I was a little "creeped" of was Madokas brother... Gyah... THIS happy people really are creeping me of...).
I'm sure, you too have those "game-guys" that catched your attention so much, that you starting to play some serie, just to "hook him up". For example, for me it is (for example) Ryou Kutani, Saito Hạime,

or Reimei (from Bloody Call - fyi you knew, that futagoproject are TRANSLATING BC? For now it í just 5%, but it is giving hope ^u^)...

As you see, I prefere games with "Edo" sense in it, or at least AWSOME plot.
For example, now I am just after seeing "Hiiro no Kakera" series anime, so I'm "aiming" Kutani. xD

Yeah. Now I'm playing HnK (1&3 - "fandisk" series, that ảe tô "fandom", not enough plot ), Armen Noir and planing to finally, after 2 years, play "School Wars". And after that all, I'm planning to re-check Shinigami Kagyou Kaidan Romance PSP... Japan did so many awsome games, that we have something to play for at least 10 years.

Btw. As you recently played CZ, you still have PSP, I think? Or you played on emulator?

I used to play lots of Otomate games before, and I think that my favorite was Moujuutsukai to Oujisama
Later though, I though the artist remains the same and the game doesn't have much good plot (like how they just keep prolonging Hakuouki) so I started staying away from the later series.
Now I like Rejet more. I say more, but I'm not that fond of the Do-S, Do-M plots, so my favorite remains Black Wolf Saga, which in my opinion, has great plot.

Otherwise, for me, otome games' popularity just depends on the seiyuus. I literally will follow my favorite seiyuu to any game or producer.

I think there are too many otomate games to finish in one lifetime now
I have intended to play Wand of Fortune, Norn9, Clock Zero for 2 years now, but haven't started at all

I like any otome that does not have a bad protagonist.

I hate the Hakuouki protagonist, Chizuru, but the Amnesia protagonist is very cute and makes sense.

A good otome in my book needs more than just cute bishonen and good plot.

This is tough because I’ve only acquired a limited amount of Otomate game.
Hiiro no Kakera 1 + FD: Sadly, I found this a boring game with characters I didn’t care about. The FD didn’t amuse me either.
Will o Wisp: pending
Hakuoki + Yuugiroku: Hakuoki was decent enough as an engaging story, but the death and war elements left an unpleasant aftertaste. As for Yuugiroku, it was cute (I love chibi characters) but nothing spectacular.
Wand of Fortune 1: LULU is a fabulous heroine! The art is gorgeous too, while the system is terrible. As for the characters, I don’t dislike anything of them (though Alvaro annoys me). At the same time, I don’t especially love any of the characters besides Est. ;_; Lulu and Est for OTP~!
Armen Noir Portable: Thank goodness the PSP version had good ends. Surprisingly, I liked all the characters, so it was a better experience than expected.
Amnesia + Later: I really liked all the characters (even Toma, though he’s still annoying at times, with his tunnel vision). Amnesia was engaging enough, and Later was even better. Orion, in particular, is such a cute younger brother. Ukyo, my favorite dude, was absolutely hilarious in Later.
Bro Con Passion Pink + Brilliant Blue: Not a memorable series…
Jyuuzaengi 1: The discrimination against the jyuuza was too annoying. I dropped the game once because of it.
Diabolik Lover + More Blood (DL is by both Rejet and Otomate according to VNDB so it’s on the list): I find the mistreatment of Yui sickening.
Norn 9: Hmm, once more I don’t especially care for any of the characters, besides Senri (I have a rather niche taste?). Koharu and Senri for OTP~~~!

Hakuouki is my fav i must say! Maybe cos i'm a bit in to historical/war stuff and have a biased on Yone's art lol
I see after the anime was released, Chizuru recieved so much hatred, but i found her reaction somehow... reasonable.
For me, she's not really a bad protagonist.
