Hello,

Its been years since I have read manga.
Having returned, all the ones that I liked, had only a few additional chapters.
And most new ones only have 5-20 chapters.

It seems that there are many more "teaser" manga translations that the publishers put out to try and get people interested.

Anyone know whats up with the increase of titles, but decrease of single title chapter releases?
Is it something as simple as translation groups marking territory, and using title count to increase recruiting?

I didn't find the right solution from the internet.

Dunno about you but most of my bookmarked manga has steady release. I don't think there is any problem. :52:

Its simple. Most good manga is released monthly, so that means you get only 12 "chapters" a year. There arent many manga readers and they dont get the same financial support as some novel translators get. There is no incentive to translate manga because it requires more work and there is less money.
