My best guys type is Kuudere (My fav. guy in this types : Kai, R (Best Bae!) from TalesRunner)
and secondary is Tsundere (My fav. guy in this types : Lancelot (Event NPC) from TalesRunner)

I really liked Mystic Messenger and Cancel A Format (Hetalia fanmade game).

I don't have any specific one, but I like strong protagonists that can properly stand up for and protect themselves!

Reading this thread made me realize that there are still heaps of otome games I need to play. Out of all mentioned games so far I've played only Hakuouki and Diary.

About personality, I prefer coodere or just taciturn, stoic type. Quiet and wise or cool and distant, both are good. I love the moment when they melt and real feeling shows beneth. <3
Another favorite is the osananajimi. Well it's not a personality exactly, but most of them tend to be already in love with the heroine and ready to do anything for her. Such sweet devotion is delicious for an old romantic like me. >.<
Opposite to these two, I find the flirty type annoying. Also don't like shotas. They thend to be overly energetic and emitional.

Our tastes and reasoning match in this regard. I especially like kuudere and taciturn types. I don't find shotas and flirty types totally unlikable though, but yeah, not my favorite types either.
