Depending on the plot, I can be okay with it or I may stop playing a game because of it. One thing if a guy really loves a heroine, but wants to punish her for something, another when he just treats her like dirt and couldn't care less about her. However, the most sickening situation for me is when a guy treats a heroine like dirt and rapes her, but she still loves him, forgives him right away and actively pursues him. In this case I think "To the hell with the both of you" and either stop playing or read to the end of the route on speed reading to get it over with as quickly as possible.

I've never really played Otome R18. I just don't like it when playing a scene where all is pure and all of a sudden it turned really infamy. It ruins the romantic atmosphere for me

If it make sense and don't really happen without purpose. I'm fine if its out of love or hatred that is explained well enough. If its done in a way to drive the narrative further then I'm okay with it. If it happened just because "muh fetish" and doesn't really affect the relationship and story-wise, then its just lazy writing. But then again to each their own. I will just find it stupid if it end up silly.

If I want some rape scene, atleast do it with justice that can really psychologically mess me up and not just "there" because "why not?"

I do not agree in real life, but sometimes in games it is difficult to take it as a violation since both parties tend to have feelings for each other.
