There are many users in this forum who doesn't know Vietnamese. So I made this thread so users who know only english can speak to their heart's content here. But there are some restrictions-

1.Discuss only about VN
2. You can discuss about downloads like erogedownloads but don't request download link here
3. Don't post download link here
4. Don't break the forums rules.
And that's all I think.

Any questions-answers, discussion, like, hate about vn, meaning anything about VN goes.

I request everyone,no matter who it is to discuss in english only in this thread.

First let's talk about your first and favorite VN.

For me the first and favorite both was Majikoi VN. It's still my favorite.

My first VN was either Clannad or Fate (90% it was Clannad though). As for my favourite guess i'll go with Seinaukana Spirit of the eternity sword 2.

i think the first visual novel i've ever had any sort of contact with was Starry Sky: In Spring. i watched a playthrough on youtube, searched for some things and had a really big interest in the Summer continuation (and it makes me sad the translation team was forced to stop :^\ ). I did play In Spring though, and while the story was good enough (though it still bothers me how the protagonist was literally the only Female in the Entire World Of The Game), i guess it did fire up in me a big interest in playing other kinds of visual novels haha.

i really want to play umineko one of these days (first contact with it was through anime), and also a new horror visual novel that's coming out this year as well called The Letter!

My first VN was Hakuouki, and I recently played the photograph journey series in Spanish. I love them, but I wish more fem protags weren't so pure??? l

My first VN was Princess Waltz and I love that VN very much.

Very first VN was Fate/Stay Night and I was in awe of the setting, characters, and thematic storyline. Though I could have done without Rin and Archer, I definitely liked the Saber Shirou pairing as Master and Servant, rather than a romantic couple.

As mentioned above, I don't really like Rin and Archer-in fact, I wish Archer didn't even exist at all. I do (and always will) dislike the genderbend, and the way its constantly handled, but other than that, I'm pretty neutral with Saber. Other than all of that, I still love everything else about Stay Night, even Gilgamesh and Zouken. :148:

HAHAHA I didn't play Fate VN but Fate/Extra and its other game. I like Rin x Archer and Rin x Lancer very much personally
I can't really remember my first VN though, probably Nilfheilm by Shall We Date on Android, but yeaaa, aside from Jean the king, I don't really fond of anyone else. I played a few VN games afterward but none of them left me strong impression, must be because I didn't play many games yet.

Man, I'd love to finish Fate/Extra (purely for Tamamo), but that gameplay is something else. Thankfully Extella is much more in my playstyle.

Edit: I also wish more VNs had beautiful, crisp backgrounds like Mahoyo. Seriously, it has no right to be so beautiful.

I want to play Fate/Extra CCC because Gilgamesh but no eng trans o(-( omg you played Extella? I'm so jealous :129: but Gil sprite look meh in Extella, I want to play for Karna baby thou ;; v ;;
