that isn't smart if we have to carry a thick & heavy book only to read few pages while it take less than 20 mins to travel between Tokyo and Osaka. They divide the whole shit into many parts then print em in small books which can fit into your pockets so you can easily carry em around without having much problems. You can hide it from em parents or teachers, or use it as some kind of projectile weapon for self defend. One day, a gaijin just named it as "Light novels" hence, we use that given name up until now.
