Hi all, I have some trouble with the display of Bad Medicine on Win8. I'm not sure if here is the right place to ask for help, but I tried the help thread in VN box to no avail.

The texts in all boxes from dialogues to encyclopedia and messages overflow beyond the right border. Text boxes are right-aligned, so many characters couldn't be viewed while playing.

I tried both fullscreen and windows mode. My display resolution can be changed from 1024 X 768 to 1920 X 1080, which I have varied as allowed by the system. It still couldn't solve the issue.

Please help me! I'm a JP noob, so this obstacle is terribly demoralising T.T

Requirements

Supported OS: Windows XP (SP 3) / Vista (SP 2) / 7 (SP 1) / 8 / 8.1 Japanese
Processor: Core Duo or better / Recommended Core 2 Duo or better
Memory: 1 GB RAM
Video memory: 128 MB or more / recommended 256 MB
Graphics: can display full color with 1024 × 768 resolution or higher
Sound: PCM compatible with DirectSound
Other: DirectX 9.0 c or later

Then, if the requirements are met and you still have a problem, they mostly recommend updating your operational system and graphics driver, switching off the game option デザインカ一ソル (cursor design) and checking whether your current video mode is set to 32-bit.
If nothing helps, maybe the problem is in the broken game version, so I'd also recommend downloading the game from another source.

Hooray! It really worked. What a miracle ! No character is missing anymore, only punctuations, but this is a huge improvement <3

Actually, I read Mejojo's and Auger's BWS after stories from the fan e-book a while ago and I was able to translate everything with some help of dictionaries, so I think I could translate this story for you too. However, I have to put it off until I have more spare time, because I will be busy with urgent work for the next two weeks.

I wanna test my JP progress and reading endurance, so I'm not using any text hooker atm. Though the real reason is that I'm more lazy of reading tutorials for hooking texts than consulting my dictionary every few seconds lol.
