Question: how important is music for you in otome games? Can you still like a game if you don't like its music? Also, what otome game's music do you like most?

The lack of BGM used to be my deal-breaker when I started playing Otome games, but gradually, as I encountered unpleasant BGMs, I no longer fuss over them as much.

I think my favourite BGMs amongst Otome games come from Black Wolves Saga Bloody Nightmares. Not only its music, but also its sound effects significantly contributed to its settings, suspense and my emotional rollercoaster. Besides BWS, I honestly can't recall any Otoge where music left such a deep impression on me (including rhythm-based Otoge lol)

so hard to answer the question, if is otome games I've played, i like 'sakuya' OST, so unique and decent, I want the OST pack files but i don't know of password for download that file..

I meant "presently". I'm still struggling sometimes to write in English so that it sounds like English and not my native language.
Me too. I'm sorry for making you don't understand, and English not my native language too, but I leaning the language for a long time, so I can use English a little well...

I checked out this game and decided to add it to the list of games I want to play in the near future. The story seems interesting and I like the art.
I like the art too!, thanks you for interesting the game likes me, (i want to draw the fanart this game a lot!)

I'm surprised that our tastes match in this regard too. BWS is also my favorite when it comes to music.

Apart from BWS, I often like soundracks which create dark, enigmatic or dangerous atmosphere in games. On the opposite, carefree and cheerful soundtracks sometimes make me turn the volume down.
I also often like peaceful, relaxing melodies.

Music is one of the factors that affect my decision to enjoy otome games. If the art and plot are beautiful and interesting enough, but the music doesn't suit my taste, I might not be so satisfied when playing the game, and I would choose to mute it. If I cannot stand the music, I may even decide not play it anymore ._.
I quite enjoy the ost of Starry Sky series. Some of the soundtracks are still stuck in my head even now XD

Very important. Like the background music of Shinobi koi utsutsu really annoying, it grates my nerves. I like Black wolves saga, moshikami, diabolik lovers music

As for me, if I find that a game has good characters, plot and art, I can like it even if I don't like it's music. In the worst case, I may just mute it or lower the volume down so that it's barely audible. However, if I like music, I will enjoy a game much more.

Another question: what's your opinion on the cruelty in otome games? If a game is really cruel, can you still play it? Or maybe, you even like cruel games?
