I used to recommend AMNESIA, but since it has an English version now... PsychicEmotion6, Brothers Conflict, Glass Heart Princess and Arcana Famiglia, because the protagonist is mute.

I would say learning Japanese from games is very difficult. Many characters uses weird conversational Japanese that we couldn't find in the real world, except ít's the real world genre. Some even utilizes super-rare kanji. I would save playing games for the later phase of learning like N1-N3 of JLPT.

I would say learning Japanese from games is very difficult.

The knowledges of Japanese received from games are very limited, but they at least help understand games in Japanese, as well as memorize most popular kanji, phrases and usage of grammar. After a year of playing visual novels with Visual Novel Reader, I have become able to understand quite a lot when I'm reading or listening. At the beginning, I had to check translation of almost every word, but now it's mostly only one or two kanji I don't understand in a sentence and it often happens that I can read passages without any help.

Enkeltbillet is a good Otome game for beginners. Unlike other otome games, Enkeltbillet doesn't have that many monologue that is different and tiring to read
