Seiyuu Bias?

1) Any voice actor whom you can immediately recognise?
2) Any favoured VAs (i.e. you probably automatically find the characters they voiced pleasant to hear) and what are the roles that you really liked?
3) Would any VA heavily influence your decision to buy a game?

Reply 1) Sugita Tomokazu’s probably the only seiyuu I can recognise with pinpoint precision, thanks to Gintama. I kept associating Pace with Gintoki during the first Arcana Famiglia game and it took some time for me to get over my brain’s persistent association.

R2) To name a few:

Kaji Yuki as Moujuutsukai to Oujisama’s Erik and Storm Lover’s Rikka. I really didn’t like him as Wataru though.

Okamoto Nobuhiko as Arcana Famiglia’s Ash.

Shimono Hiro as Shinobi Koi’s Garaiya, Norn9’s Senri and Nightshade’s Kuroyuki. Oddly enough, I wasn’t fond of his voice as Lucia.

Kakihara Tetsuya as Amnesia’s Shin. Didn’t quite like his voice in WOF though, since Lagi yelled too much for my liking and I was getting Fairy Tail flashbacks.

Hirakawa Daisuke as Alice series’ Ace. Big nope for me when he plays Laito though.

R3) Influence, yes. Heavily influence, no.

1) Definitely Kaji Yuki, in the past when I heard his voice I would immediately knew it's him. Nowaday I'm a bit rusty tho.
Hirakawa Daisuke is also one of the VA I would knew upon hearing the voice, he has a unique tone.
Same with Kakihara Tetsuya, it's hard to miss the tone he use.
2) It would be Saitou Souma, though it still depend on the role. But I would pay more attention to that character.
3) Not really, I pay more attention to art, music and story.

1) Tsuda Kenjirou - he has a very distinct voice so it's easy to recognise
2) Tsuda Kenjirou (again) - imo his voice was very fitting as Kazama in Hakuouki, also as Hattori Hanzou in Nightshade
3) Not really; the story is the main influencing factor

1) I can recognise a lot male seiyuus - Nakai Kazuya - he's destinctive and easy to hear, Morikawa Toshiyuki - he's everywere, Hoshi Soichiro - because I hate him (don't know why though), Sugita Tomokazu, Miyano Mamoru, Tomoaki Maeno, Suwabe Junichi - an eargasm every time. But most of all I loooove Ishida Akira. He has many voices, but still I can recognise him almost every time.
2) I like most of the above mentioned. Without Hoshi Soichiro ofcourse. And maybe Morikawa-san is not my favourite anymore. I got tired of him. Shiba Kasumi is badass partialy thanks to his seiyuu - Nakai Kazuya. The only Sugita role I like is Kanata from Starry Sky in spring. And I am in love with school nurses like Kugami Kyou from Bloody Call and Hoshizuki Kotarou from Starry Sky in autumn, both voiced by Ishida Akira.
3) Will I choose a game because of seiyuu cast - of course! Especialy when I hesitate between two or more titles, I always take a look at the voice actors.

Kaiji Yuki. Just played Storm Lover Kai and love him!
Hiroshi Kamiya- he is my totally bias in this seiyuu world. His voice is so sexy and yet warm in the same time

There are so many to choose from... but i really like the voice of Takahiro Sakurai especially when he's in jolly mode. His deeper version is really sexy though. I wish he could be in

Konishi Katsuyuki as Sakamaki Reiji in Diabolik lovers! Mr do S I love most in this game. He's like mama, housekeeper ^0^.
Hirakawa Daisuke as Cinderella in Taisho Alice too!! I definitely love his chara!
Toriumi Kousuke as Remy in Person A ~ opera za no kaijin. Fell in love with his voice. I've never thought he is Shu's seiyuu in Diabolik lovers.
Sakurai Takahiro, his low voice is so sexy.
Fukuyama Jun as Kisaragi Kyoya in Kiniro no corda 3. His noisy, loud voice make me laugh so much!
3) I choose a game because of the art and the story.
