Honey and Clover isn't my first manga, but definitely the best I've come across.
One of those rare manga that depicts many of college life and working's problems like friends, love, finding jobs, change of workplace,etc in a simple, realistic yet beautiful way.
The characters, especially our main group are exceptionally well written. They are flawed but not in any way weak. They are deep and complex but never overly dramatic.
The story revolves around those who are just taking their first step to the adult world. They fail sometimes, they lose more often than win.
Nonetheless, they still give their best shot, one more time....
