I honestly don't know about the whole deal of "rushing thing" but it take me... about 2 months until my best friend confess to me and I eventually fall for her and then we both have various kind of "fun" together. Pure and Innocent fun like the eroge though. Now that was when I was 23 and my best friend was 21 as well.
