Hako's Monthly eroge review: a disappointment.

I'd expect this bullshit law to be lessen in practice and ignored totally. Well look at China, they had the same law, yet their fanbase is big enough that probably about the same size of Japanese's market. I don't think the law actually have that great impact. And yes, all Hako members are the pioneers of the new world, the future lies in everyone hands here.

It has done great impact, you're no living here, don't judge by just what you see. All PPL are under the law, and afraid of risk for messing with it.
Besides, America fanbase and others ain't big. While there're atleast more English translation teams currently working. Common languages for reading VNs / eroges aren't native either.
What is more, how do you compare to a country which more than 1.5 billions in population as China? Are they really big fanbase if in percentage aspect?

As much as I hate to do it, I still need to give them the guide and point all questions to the guide or let them ask question in the guide thread (or comment on it). In fact all AS staff are required to do so.

True, the point is the culture of the place. If everyone from leader to member in that forum trolls, treat others like crap, you don't expect anyone there to treat anyone nicely. But if a forum has full of nice people, then the result will be very different. Would you put some effort into making Hako a better place than >o9k place or you look at the forum next to you and say "I'm doing the same of what they did, that's good enough" ?

Let's not make excuse. You can make excuse with teacher at school and he will only take you about 30% of your assignment at most but in real life, there's no 70% is a C-... there's only a F or not an F (Fail or not Fail). I doubt if there is any all-good-ppl places. Possibly we should provide more our help from the begining time. But all of us have real life either other works, we can't solve anything come in and checkout how to make it a better place by just product-from-leaders. We need cooporate from members, and what you have mentioned is error of them. Let they fix okay ? Under our care.

Yes, what they taught in school are faggotry indeed. But that doesn't mean we shall bring ourselves to their level at all. We are different, we are unique, we don't just align ourselves be "a bit better than them". True story is: AS never align itself to any other famous forum, we have unique approach to everything, and we don't even care about the existence of the other forums since they aren't our concern at all right of the start.

To cap up, if you want to make Hako a different place than >o9k places we already had, think about it. You're certainly on the right track here, and my point in this thread simply to give you some advice.

This thread is to provide some of my opinion and hopefully, some useful advice that Hako leader can use to know where they are heading into... (nobody want to head to into a pitfall, but you don't know until you reach it)

I'm not being very idealistic, I'm not expecting Hako to change into a great place in a day, but Hako needs a strong foundation (in other word, some amount of good member that it can rely on). Quite irony and unfortunately, the best time, also the hardest time to build a strong foundation is the early stage.

Sure China has 1.5 bil, Vietnam has 80 mil and Canada has 39 mil. I've certainly seen more decent people in Canada too (Micchi, NNL and others). Many eroge players are from Canada as well despite of the small population, Canada managed to hold the 10th spot of the country who visited AS (Japan being top, Taiwan nab second, America third, South Korea fourth, Hongkong and China both follow closely fifth and sixth)
