Oh, at first I wasn't interested in Mejojo and was even a bit reluctant to do his route. He didn't seem the type of character I would enjoy at all. But damn, I ended up crying in his route. He wasn't one of my favorite characters, but I liked him and also felt really sorry for him. Auger on other hand interested me and I was so shocked when I finished his route. Sure, something seemed off... like it was too good to be true. But when I reached the ending... what a huge troll xD definitely not your average otome game route. I like Auger as a character though. I guess my least favorite character in BWS would be Arles or Zara...
Oh, in that case, sorry for the spoilers. In my opinion, even though Mejojo and Auger's route is very short and feels rushed, it's still worth playing because of its final part. Also, both Auger and Mejojo explain reasons for their actions in their good ends, which helps if you want to understand these characters better. If you don't want to see the Wolves' part of the story, you can skip all heroine's adventures with Rath starting from the first set of choices and you will still understand everything on the Cats' route.
On the other hand, Auger is my least favourite character in all Otome games and novels I've read. I felt so blind because I was deceived by how loyal he had been to his brother as a child. Tbh, his character development was rather cardboard cutout, even if it's inconsistent in one of BN endings. His route has as much potential as Mejojo's, but Rejet failed to deliver it, at least for me
Being deceived by Auger is natural since he is a brilliant actor and conceals his true intentions from everyone, even from his own brother. If you take in consideration that he is a sociopath with everything that that implies (poor ability to form attachment to others; inflated self-esteem; can easily sever any relationship, even a long-term one; gets bored very easily, thus has a great need in constant stimulation; highly manipulative), then everything on his route, including his endings where he kills Mejojo when the latter stops amuse him, is easily explainable. Throughout the playthrough we get to see him during three age periods:
- A little boy, when he is still an innocent child, and I think that at that point he could still grow up into a good adult with due upbringing.
- A teenager, when constant assassinations narrowed down his social boundaries to Mejojo and his mother, and while Mejojo was fixated on his mother more than on Auger, Auger was more fixated on Mejojo. He is still more or less normal.
- A grown-up man, when, in the result of his mother’s suicide, he has become a sociopath. His mother tricked him and Mejojo into killing her dressing it as a game (‘a contest of strengh’) and the lesson Auger took from it was – ‘Life is nothing but a cruel game, and if it’s so, then let’s play. There is no point if it’s no fun, people who are no fun, can just die.’ He starts treating everyone as game pieces, some more prescious than others depending on their entertainment value. He enjoys manipulating everyone into doing something amusing to him (which is often something violent). In this regard, Mejojo is his most prescious piece who can entertain him better than everyone else. Pretending that he is Mejojo's loyal follower, Auger appeases his sore ego and influences his actions, including purposeful rekindling Mejojo's desire for revenge.
That’s what he tells about himself in his LH good end:

長い事、外で遊んでたんだけど、どうやら閉じ込められちゃったみたい。 I was playing outside for a long time, but it seems that I've been locked up, one way or another. [Is referring to becoming physically disabled after the final battle with the Wolves.]
今までは上手くやってきたのに。狼のやつらも最後は上手かった。 Even though I was doing well up until now, the Wolves were good in their final moments too.
そんな気はしてたんだけど、でもそれも面白いかな、って。 I had a hunch things might go down that way, but even so I thought it would be probably amusing.
逃げられるかな、って思ったんだけど、最後の最後で炎に焼かれちゃったね。 I was wondering if I'd be able to escape, but I got burned by the blaze in the very end, didn't I?

いっぺん死んでみることにしたんだ。 Decided to try dying this one time.
Personally, I think Auger really loved Mejojo, within a limit of his ability to love. The problem is, his ability to love is very poor and the only kind of love he can give is a twisted one. I think, when he kills Mejojo in his good end, it’s also done to show that the MC's relationship with him progressed to the point when she takes Mejojo’s place in his heart, that he wants her badly enough to kill Mejojo. If you listen to his extra voice after the completion of his route, he says ‘I have really come to like you. For example, even though I know that you belong to my brother, I still want you. Prepare youself, I will definitely come to take you away one day.’
I haven’t played Cupid, but I’ve been planning on it for a while, because I want to play an otome game with horror elements. I’m looking forward to playing it now, thanks to your comment.
I thought so, actually. It's a pity that we have to deal with a language barrier here. It would be interesting to hear your thoughts at least in Thai language (with Google Translate), but, unfortunately, only Vietnamese and English are allowed on this forum.
Hello, welcome to the thread. There are at least two people who like yanderes in this thread (including me), so it's not so uncommon. I could advise lots of otome games with yandere characters, but yandere shotas (and, probably, shotas in general) are pretty rare. Apart from Kanato from Diabolik Lovers and Yeon-ho from Nameless, only one have come to my mind - Saionji Seri from Gekka Ryouran Romance. Also, if you play 18+ games, you could try checking out Ikuto from Kuro to Kin no Akanai Kagi.
Hi! Thanks for the warm welcome to this thread! Before start I hope that you have great vacations, MidoriAmatoya! I'm happy that you're back. akaruscarlet nice to meet you! And thanks for say welcome to me to this thread, so nice... Are few threads in english, certainly about otomes when you can expose your ideas. And this is different to the mine, because is open, and my threads are closed questions. (Even if I always talking about other themes)
Well... I'm a big fan of Tokimeki, Ịiwaru my Master and Amnesia. This are the games that I finished and saw all CG's and clear all the routes. I like yandere characters if they are fully in love, enough to kill someone if they need protect, and not simply obsessed. Obsession never is good! For example, about Toma from Amnesia. The route of Ikki is very gore. His fans love him so much, enough to hurt you!!! If you tell to Toma, (I don't want to make spoilers so...) he will take "measures". A little radical! But effective! Is the same if you choose his route, knowing that you're in danger, he put you in a jail!!! Answering to the question about MidoriAmatoya, about a deeply moment....
I remember now, when "Heroine" is in the jail, and he ask to her if she hate him. T-T If you answer not, he feels so guilty and he knows that what he's doing is not good, but he prefer that you hate him in the future, that you suffer or take damage. If that's not love I don't know what is!!!
Don't worry, Toma! We love you!!! And someones of us will die for be in the jail with you!!! XD
I haven't played Tokimeki, but I 100% completed Ijiwaru MyMaster and Amnesia too. Amnesia is one of my first otome games and one of my favorite even now and I liked Ijiwaru MyMaster for its plot, beautiful art and an atmosphere of a fairy tale. I'm curious, who is your favorite romantic interest from Ijiwaru MyMaster?

MidoriAmatoya! You need to play Tokimeki! I know that you will love it! All the characters have great personalities and are so lovely! The first and second part are more difficult because your "friends" will try to make your love impossible, they will become your rivals, but the third part, they are really friends and will support you.
My favorite romantic interest from Ijiwaru my Master? Well... I enjoy and love all the routes (I played it in my original language: Spanish, so was very exciting. But only the routes of Eins, Lyon and Ryuka was translated. I played the half route of Delta and Evans in japanese). The first I did was Ryuka. Because I'm always in the shoes of the protagonist. I think that if I am in the place of she (And I wish XD) Ryuka will be the most confidable and I will go with him. I love his two sides. So I clear all the routes with him. After that, I wished to go with Eins and his master. I cleared the route with Leon, and I first denied sex because I want to sacrifice me for him, for release him from the curse. I love that ending . Then I want to clear Evans, but choosed Eins, because I like it and because is the most near to Leon. But I was truly deceptionated. The Eins route was the worst for me. He uses you and... I don't know, I did'nt expect that with that angelical face he can rape you!!! And so hard!!! So I played the route with Evans, because he is so kind and nice!!! He protects you! And I feel secure with him. But, what really shocked me, was the route of Delta! I don't was very excited for played it, because he was not my type at first. But I think that his route with Ryuka, was the best!!! I like when he give you the rose in the window T-T, and the ending with the doll (our daughter).:74: He looks like ice, but he is really kind and nice. :3
In order the characters will be like this:
1. Ryuka VS Delta
2. Evans VS Lyon VS Homura (Homura was fascinanting too. I suffer because I was very sad for him and his suffering. I don't want to justified his rape, but at least not was as the Eins T-T)
3. Eins
When you play Tomikeki I want to listen your favourite characters, ok? I will tell you the mines!!! XD I want to play in the future Under the Moon, too. Because is in the same universe of Ijiwaru my Master. And the cat and Lyon are similars, don't you think?. Right now I'm playing Persona 5! I love Persona games. Maybe when I finish (I'm playing in hard and with all the paciente of world because I want to enjoy to maximum!) I will play all the otomes that I have outstanding.
Rilleine, please do! TokiMemo definitely deserves more love. I think they're quite good and entertaining games. The tree of them.
100% finished? Tokimeki Memorial too? Does it mean that you got the "best friend" ends too (for the first TokiMemo)? I tryed hard, but couldn't get even one. Only the love ends for all the guys and the troll end with Goro. Who's your favourites for the first game? I am a big fan of Himurocchi, he's my number one! But I also loved Madoka, Shiki and Thendo Jin a lot.
