Definitely prefer all-ages as R18 has the tendency to throw in a lot of rape for whatever reason. :/

Funny enough, I don't think I've actually played an R18 otome game, so maybe my answer is a bit skewed. Though otome R18 and harem R18 can't be too different.

Harem R18 as in eroge targeted at males? Eh. I actually think that those I’ve played were not quite as trashy and filled with rape crap as the R18 otome games I've tried.

Yeah. To be honest, I think otome is a bit more cruel to it's female character than eroge/harem marketed towards man. That, which coupled with writers' reluctance/inability to actually write porn in their works might play a large factor in why there's so much unnecessary rape in R18 otome games.

Eh, I've not tried the game but I've read two reviews. I don't think that it's utter trash, but it doesn't seem like something particularly worth playing as well.
