This project itself is not harmful for us directly. But the fact that Khoa was part of our team to whom we trusted really adds up to the bunch of other problems we already had.
I myself can't really say if anything was translated from our scripts, but I can clearly see other files that I created and the code I wrote to be present in this patch.
Of course I also have all the sources required to create things that were not present in our SVN, such as photoshop documents and fonts that I re-created myself to closely resemble the ones used in video. So it is pretty easy for me to tell

I can't answer for the Lan, but personally I will not be trying to stop this project. I am not sure if we'll be able to complete and release our translation, this is one of the reasons we haven't released anything yet. Keeping this in mind, if my work was useful for your community, I suppose it is not that bad, as I am aware that stopping the distribution is no longer possible.

The main reason for my message is to notify you and because Khoa is not visiting our conference since the start of the year and I have no way to talk to him.

Just want to let you know that I am really unhappy with the fact that you used files from our translation project to create this patch.
Even though it is already too late, your acces to our SVN reporitory is permanently removed. Permission to use any of my files was never granted to you and never will be. In fact you never even talked to me about that. We are all pirates, I have no problem with that, but there should be some respect to the work of other people at least withing the community.
Also I want to let you know. Me and Lan worked hard on our translation project. While it wasn't really active as of late, I was still willing to work on it. But now, if the project will die completely, it will also be your fault because you are ruining whatever left of our translation team.

Hi MeruP, it's been a while. 6 months I guess.

My first appology is that I didn't ask you, or talk to you about this (though I did tell you guys once about translating this into my languge, which is Vietnamese) and yet still used some engine/technical things file of yours.
The main reason was because I lost the skype group (by legal reason), too lazy to visit Fuwa and I somehow believed that you guys are dead (which is not and I'm really glad about that).

It's my fault, nothing to deny but it's not on purpose.

My second appology is after this much time I still didn't try to contact you (or Lan) once or credit your works to those posts (I just forgot to do so, not my real intention). I hate my unwanted laziness in such important things so yes, I'm really sorry for make you unhappy. I don't know how to compensate this incident but let's save that for later talk.

After I "temporarily" left your team, I still had the idea to do this AnG Viet ver and found superutuanga who's willing to help me. I sent him the SVN files cuz he said that there might be something needed for the patch (Viet patch) to work. I don't know how much he used but it won't change the fact that we used your technical files but not the script since I decided to completely translate from the original Japanese to Vietnamese (not by Lan's(?) English translation).

And so I began to start this pj and came this far.

The only thing I want you to understand that this Vietnamese patch won't and can't affect your English version, like Azu-tan said.
It's not like ppl will learn Vietnamese just to read the Viet patch. They will (ofc) still choose the English patch since English is more a common language.
If there's something got affected then it'd be the selling of that Visual Novel/Eroge itself. But it's not the deal here.

So in conclusion I hope that you'd forgive me and let us continue to use your files (if supertuanga said that they're needed), since in the end it's still my fault not my team (they did their best for this patch to be released).

I find this to be especially sad. While I do have a lot of stuff on my PC that I did not commited to our SVN, repository had pretty much all that is needed to make high quality translation into any language. It would take me around 1 hour at most to create Viet patch, assuming I had Viet translation. But for some reason you decided that my services are not needed anymore.

So in conclusion I hope that you'd forgive me and let us continue to use your files (if supertuanga said that they're needed), since in the end it's still my fault not my team (they did their best for this patch to be released).

As I mentioned above in my answer to Azu-tan, what's done is done. I can't stop anyone from using my files anymore. Unfortunately at this point I can't promise any technical support.
I hope that the guy that replaced me will be able to add proper translation to the videos and will be able to handle all the other stuff. Also I noticed there is some technical problems with the patch, such as tearing. Looks like the game is not configured to use Direct3D, which makes my movies look worse than I intended.

The only thing I want you to understand that this Vietnamese patch won't and can't affect your English version, like Azu-tan said.

Yes I undertand. I never meant to say that it will. it was a bit of misunderstanding.

In any case, can't say that I am happy with the way it turned out to be, but good luck with your project. Make sure you'll release a complete translation, since we might be unable to finish ours.

Well, guess it's because of our lack of communicating. And I wasn't sure to ask you do something off-project since Vietnamese is not a language you familiar with and at that time you already had bunch of other problems. I'll pm you later about what I intend to do when the prequel is finished.

Sau 3 ngày kể từ khi rel patch đợt đầu, tuy xảy ra nhiều trục trặc nhưng tạm thời đã giải quyết xong.
Sạn vẫn ở đó sẽ nhặt ra dần nên cả nhóm (nhất là mình) cùng cố gắng cải thiện trong đợt patch kế tiếp.

Giờ là mình xin bonus mỗi người trong nhóm một số pts gọi là khích lệ, động viên, dụ dỗ... vv do bản thân mình vốn không có mục đích nào để mà cần đến pts.
Mọi người có thì mình chia luôn, tiện cả đôi đường.

Ngoài ra mình vừa share quyền edit/sync cho địa chỉ gmail mỗi người (đã cho mình lúc đầu) để cùng làm việc qua dropbox tiện lợi hơn.
Mọi người reg acc, tải client dropbox, sync folder AnG Viet.
Sau đó TLC với Editor copy-paste đè file đang nhận làm vào để sync trên cloud dropbox. Sau này có modify script thì nó cũng tự động sync trên cloud luôn.
